It's been a while, but I'm not dead. A bit stagnant unfortunately, but maybe I'm at that point where I can get back on my feet again. We'll see. It's been hard to get inspiration for art, whether it's fan art or something original, to hone skills, when most of your energy is going toward another job you're at, putting in late hours just to get financially stable once more. Since the last post some years back, I graduated at the top of my class attending school for game design, but things didn't pan out that way (not many studios in CO, and hardly any take newcomers). I did get contracted for a sweet 3D job with great pay, but we were laid off

Edit: Happy thanksgiving all, and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays since I doubt I'll post another one of these for awhile. Random funniness: I decided to download the Wheel of Fortune demo off of XBLA for reasons I don't even know of. Why I would download something like that, you might ask. One because we used to watch Wheel and Jeopardy as a kid, and I figured it's study material as a hopeful future game designer. Might as well since this school isn't teaching me anything about game design, period. I'm nearing the end of the run and from a competitive standpoint, not entirely optimistic about my portfolio. But I'll get into that in a bit

Any dedicated KP fans ever hear of this old NES game called "Vice: Project Doom"? This looks like a pretty decent title (developed by AICOM which made PULSTAR, a classic fave), but this tiny little cutscene just totally BLEW MY MIND. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o84PiCvcgdU#t=5m49s Coincidence or destiny? :) In other news I'm not dead, but I've been back in school aiming for a degree in video game art & design.
